"Timothy, Walking By Faith As A Youth", is the 1st in the series on Paul's letters, focuses on developing a consistent time in the Bible daily without feeling overwhelmed. As a Bible study workbook, (Guided/Directed SOAP), the studies are written for about 15 minutes per day.
There are some cross references for a beginning to Inductive Bible study, at a pace and level for anyone new to Bible study.
As the series continues, the subsequent studies will be more inductive.. The Timothy study looks at relationships with one another, our attitude towards others, and how we live in a world of sin and wickedness.
Great for small group studies with a leaders discussion guide and additional questions.
"Titus, Pioneering for the Gospel", is the 2nd in the series on Paul's letters. This Inductive Bible study goes deeper, as a daily Guided/Directed SOAP Bible study in a workbook, while investing 15 minute per day.
As an inductive study, examining the original Greek words (Word study) and references to other passages of scripture (Expository) for further depth.
This study on Titus, looks deeper on Eternal life for a solid foundation Biblically from multiple other passages in addition to studying Good works.
There are references to the previous study on 1st & 2nd Timothy as Paul addresses some of the same principles in these letters.
Formatted for small group studies with a leaders discussion guide and additional questions.
Each subsequent study in this series will be an inductive Bible study workbook formatted for small group studies or individual usage as a Guided/Directed SOAP.
This series starts with a focus on helping one to establish a consistent daily (quiet) time in the Word of God, gaining confidence through understanding.
Future studies will continue in this same manner, each study using an inductive Bible study workbook and small group studies or individual studies. Written in the same format, (directed SOAP) and about 15 minutes per day. Each study will have references to other studies in the series and looking into some difficult passages through the Biblical lenses to allow for insight and deeper understanding.
Each Bible study will be at a pace designed for understanding of the Bible, about 15 minutes a day.
A directed SOAP style:
The goal of the study is for every person who reads it to grow in their personal faith and confidence in understanding the Bible. The skills learned through these studies can be applied to all Scripture.
Paul's Letters series begins with 1st & 2nd Timothy followed by Titus. Currently I am working on the 3rd in the series, Ephesians. Plans are for a total of 9 studies in the series. Each inductive Bible study is formulated for small group studies, church ministries, family devotions, and discipling as a directed SOAP Bible study workbook. Studies will vary in the number of weeks.
Why did I begin with the letters to Timothy & Titus?
These are the pastoral letters which help outline guidelines for churches. They also discuss the qualities for leadership. These letters help build our faith in Jesus Christ in a solid manner while looking at relationships with one another. (Horizontal relationships -- how we relate to others.)
Understanding the challenges we all meet in today's world, defined in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, we can be more aware of the pitfalls living in today's world through false beliefs about faith in Jesus Christ and God.
Throughout Paul's letters there are repeated warnings of false teachings/false doctrines.
This series is designed for all to grow in their faith through building on a firm foundation in Jesus Christ through 15-20 minutes a day in the Bible.
Continuing in Paul's letters series, the 2nd study in the series is Titus. This study is a deeper inductive Bible study workbook formatted for small group studies.
Titus, while a short book, is packed full of foundational truths confirming Paul's passion for strong churches built on a solid faith in Jesus Christ as well as an underlying emphasis on good works and understanding Eternal life. These are essential foundations of faith.
Salvation is NEVER based upon good works.
Salvation is only through accepting Jesus Christ as one's personal Savior in faith. Good works is a way of saying thank you to God for the gift of salvation.
This series is designed for all to grow in their faith through building on a firm foundation in Jesus Christ through 15 minutes a day in the Bible.
